Brooks Joins Fellow Lawmakers at White House to Discuss a Path Forward for Tax Reform

Statement

Date: Sept. 13, 2017
Location: Washington, DC
Issues: Taxes

Today, Congresswoman Susan Brooks (R-IN05) and 14 of her House colleagues met with President Donald Trump to discuss tax reform. Brooks released the following statement after the meeting:

"It is critical that our tax reform efforts focus on fixing our overly complicated tax code to allow small businesses to grow and to allow hard-working Americans to keep more of their paycheck. I applaud the President's discussion today with members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to develop a comprehensive tax reform plan that prioritizes helping families across the country, including those in the Fifth District, and redefines our country's economic competitiveness on a global scale."
